Sweet Treats: Strawberry Macaroons

Still have yet to find a place around here that has decent fresh macaroons. I found these in the gourmet food section at Marshall's ($3.99 for 6). They were pretty good, although I think the strawberry flavor was just a tad too sweet.

Was in a random baking mood the other day so I made some cupcakes! They don't look impressive but I rarely bake so it was fun for me ;) I used this recipe and they were quite tasty, especially the buttercream frosting.
