Happy Easter

I can't wait to have children so I can hide eggs and pilfer through their easter (and halloween) candy. Paas egg dye kits kind of suck. Today we didn't do much but at least went out and enjoyed the beauuutiful weather.

Dear Valentine

Cheesy fun nails.
Don't mind the claw hands.
My friend and I were complaining about boredom and decided to make cards for each other.
I'm not a huge lipstick person but I love these Rimmel Kate Moss lipsticks.
Kinda weird thing to say about lipstick but they also smell great!

Happy Halloween!

Some of the pumpkin spice cupcakes I made last week! They were quite delicious. I love this time of year (it's really my favorite) but I admit, I'm feeling a bit lazy about Halloween. I thought about carving pumpkins buttttt I really lacked the motivation (too messy). Tonight we are just planning to watch World War Z and stuff our faces with Chipotle. Then I shall celebrate with 50% off Halloween candy within the next couple days. Yes.

Fireworks

Last night we stuck it out through the rain to watch the fireworks display downtown. They were lovely like usual but towards the end the sky was so smokey that we couldn't see the finale. Still an impressive display like usual. We had a little BBQ with Matt's parents and just enjoyed the day.

Valentine's Day

Pink roses from Matt, along with a cute card and a gift card to my favorite store <3
The only pink I wore, in glittery form.

Chocolates were for him, but he's been giving me all the pieces he doesn't want ;)

Pad Thai Dinner. I was easily impressed by the Coca Cola Freestyle Soda Machine.
Warm Bodies! Was actually a good date movie. Many funny and sweet moments.

Lazy Baking: Valentine's Day Edition

I am not embarrassed of my poorly frosted, box mix cupcakes. Nope!! The frosting was a bit goopy and disappointing though. Sweet sidenote: I made a comment to Matt about how I wished I had heart sprinkles and he stopped by the store on his way home from work to surprise me with some. What a QT.
